Winfried Albert, Ph.D., Managing Director

He is immunologist and clinical biochemist and has been Senior Director for 28 years at Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, an international biopharmaceutical and diagnostics company recently acquired by Roche Diagnostics GmbH. W.A. has held leading positions in diagnostics and bio-therapeutics research and development as well as in business development and has been responsible for the de-novo establishment of new biotechnology core facilities. He successfully co-founded a Munich based biotech company in 2000. He is a member of several national and international scientific societies. He is author of numerous publications and has been granted more than 30 patents in the field. With his strong industrial background, he is taking care of AdnaGen's scientific and operational tasks since April 2002.

 

Wolfram Rodatz, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining AdnaGen, Dr. Rodatz was General Manager of Digilab BioVisioN GmbH, a German company offering technologies for peptide and protein marker discovery as well as sample preparation services and products. Before that, he was Managing Director Germany and General Manager Europe (including countries of the former Eastern bloc) at Bio-Rad Laboratories (AMEX: BIO), where he was key to building their life sciences and diagnostics business to annual revenues of over 100 Million Euros.
